Dr. Kalpeshkumar L Gupta is a law teacher and researcher. He is having around 17 years of experience including industry and academia. He worked with Advocates, CAs, Tax Consultants, Company. Since 2010 he has been in the academic field. He worked as an Associate in Business Policy Area at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad for five years. He also worked as an Assistant Professor – Research and faculty coordinator of GNLU Legal Incubation Council (GLIC) at Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar which is India’s first legal incubation centre. He played a key role in establishing the GLIC. Presently he is working as an Associate Professor of Law and Coordinator of Entrepreneurship Development Cell at Parul University, Vadodara. His areas of interest are law, management, public policy, RTI, entrepreneurship, startups, legal startups etc. He has founded ProBono India, Legal Startups and Court Management in India which are India’s first of its kind platforms in India. He has participated in more than 50 conferences, workshops, seminars and presented and published more than 25 papers, research articles. He has conducted workshops on RTI, Legal Startups and various other legal, non-legal subjects at the state as well as at the national level. He also completed projects for the Government of Gujarat and Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice. He believes in innovation in the legal field and has been in that direction. He has proposed the Court Management Authority Bill, 2017, Legal Education Bill, 2019, Legal Aid Index for reform in the legal field which has been duly appreciated by the government and legal fraternity across India.

Expectations from the attendees
The attendees should join the meeting at least 10-mins prior to the session. It is expected that the attendees shall not cause any disturbances during the session. It is expected and required from the participants to pose only relevant queries and questions to the speaker. The audio and video of the participants should be kept switched off at all time, except when he/she has questions to pose.
