The results of National Article Writing Competition




The National Article Writing Competition, 2020 saw an overwhelming response from law students across the country. The much-awaited results of the Competition, organised by SamVidhi are here (There is a tie for the third position):




The Top 3 are:


  1. Advyay Goyal and Nisarg Bhardwaj, Gujarat National Law University (Cash Prize Rs. 1500, internship opportunity at the Chambers of AOR, Supreme Court of India, Free publication of one paper in future in JLSR Journal (ISSN(O): 2582 306X)).

  2. Priyam Goyal, Indore Institute of Law (Cash Prize Rs. 750, internship opportunity at the chambers of AOR, Supreme Court of India, Free publication of one paper in future in JLSR Journal (ISSN(O): 2582 306X)).

  3. Harsh Rai and Samridhi Seth, Hidayatullah National Law University and Army Institute of Law (Cash Prize Rs. 750)

&

Tanmay Kumar and Runjhun Sharma, Gujarat National Law University and Mody University of Science & Technology (Cash Prize Rs. 750).




The following submissions have been selected for publication, names provided in alphabetical order:


  • Aditya Shukla and Aviral Agrawal, NALSAR University of Law.

  • Aparna G. Achary, Thakur Ramnarayan College of Law.

  • Apoorva Agarwal and Saachi Shukla, New Law College, Bhartiya Vidyapeeth

  • Prachi Kadam and Sanvi Mehta, Thakur Ramnarayan College of Law.

  • Rishabh Mattad, Symbiosis Law School, Noida.

  • Vanjul Sinha, Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur.


Further, all the participants shall be provided a discount in Katcheri.in’s online courses. The participants will be provided an E-certificate of participation in a few days’ time. Those authors, including the top 3, whose submissions have been selected for publication, they will shortly receive a mail from the Editorial Board of SamVidhi after the review process is over.



We would like to extend our gratitude to our judges Mr. Fuzail Ahmad Ayyubi (AOR, Supreme Court of India), Miss Shriya Maini (AOR, Supreme Court of India) and Mr. Yuvraj Rathore (Legal Protection Officer at the Migration and Asylum Project, Ara Trust), for taking out time from their busy schedule and evaluating the submissions.


We heartily congratulate the winners and thank all the participants for making this competition a success. We look forward to organising more such events to increase the involvement of students in co-curricular activities under socio-legal and environmental themes. Further, SamVidhi is now receiving blogs for publication on a rolling basis.
