Webinar on 'Prevention of Cruelty to Animals: Duties of Citizens'



About the Speaker: Mr. Meet Ashar is an Animal Rights Activist associated with PETA and also with several government organizations such as the Maharashtra State Animal Welfare Board. After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce in the year 2014, Mr. Ashar then pursued his LL.B. from the University of Mumbai in 2017. During this period, Mr. Ashar held several roles of responsibility in the domain of Animal Rights. Sir has been an Honorary Advisor to the MH State Animal Welfare Board and has also been the Animal Welfare Officer at Animal Welfare Board of India, to name a few. Mr. Ashar is extremely concerned about Animal Rights and is working diligently in this field. Mr. Ashar’s words have also been published in the Times Education’s Annual Magazine.

Expectations from the attendees


The attendees should join the meeting at least 10-mins prior to the session. It is expected that the attendees shall not cause any disturbances during the session. It is expected and required from the participants to pose only relevant queries and questions to the speaker. The audio and video of the participants should be kept switched off at all times, except when he/she has questions to pose.
